We are looking for a chef (f/m) with a sense of adventure and passion for his profession. Are you ready to get a unique opportunity in your career? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for for a 2-3 year position in the South of France. The job You will get your daily life in the beautiful south-west French countryside in France's oldest wine regions. In cooperation with the management, lay down the guidelines for gastronomic menus. You have the daily responsibility and management of the kitchen. In addition, your primary tasks will consist of : - Preparing meals, snacks and refreshments for customers - Planning and managing the entire cooking process - Preparation of new dishes and methods for processing the food with special focus on own production - Management of the kitchen area, as well as washing up and preparation areas in relation to sharp cleaning and hygiene relationship - Strict management of purchasing, storage, kitchen and food storage, a strict management is a necessity - Collaboration with serving staff Home-produced raw materials are implemented to a large extent in the menus. Among other things, it is produced truffles, olive and lavender oil and saffron. The Château produces 14 different wines which served to customers. The production is with just over 400,000 bottles per year. All wines were produced as AOC, as white, rosé and red wine, as well as sparkling and dessert wines. Your profile You are a trained chef and perhaps have several years of experience in the restaurant industry or similar, preferably with experience in carvings, e.g. Butcher work. Hope you see your self with this life experience in the south-west of France and can see yourself in this exciting position. You are honourable about your profession, does not compromise, and always makes sure that the guests get the unique experience. You are willing to cooperate with regard to development and menu compositions, at the same time with you communicate clearly how the kitchen should function and appear in everyday life. You is at the same time a person of order, cleanliness and order are the watchwords in this company. Gastronomy is part of your DNA, you love your craft and are curious to learn new things. You possess a broad overview and have a natural integrity and service-minded attitude with a strong customer focus. You take pride in clear and distinct communication with everyone organizational levels. You can also speak English and French. Cooperation and interaction with colleagues is highly valued, and you have the will to drive and improve development – always with the customer experience in mind.
