Position: Head Sommelier (m/f) Location: Brasserie Gavroche – Singapore Start Date: February 2025 Brasserie Gavroche, located in Singapore, is a distinguished French brasserie offering authentic, traditional French cuisine in a refined and welcoming setting. Renowned for its exceptional culinary experience, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service and a carefully curated selection of fine French wines. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and develop the wine list, with a strong focus on French wines. Provide expert wine recommendations to enhance the guest experience. Manage and train the front-of-house team on wine knowledge and service. Maintain and optimize wine inventory, ensuring proper stock management and supplier relationships. Foster strong guest relationships to enhance satisfaction and ensure return visits. Uphold the highest standards of wine service, contributing to the brasserie's overall success. Requirements: Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or Junior Sommelier Extensive knowledge and passion for French wines, regions, and food pairings. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a team. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Fluent in English; French language proficiency is a strong plus. A team player with excellent organizational and managerial abilities.
